Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vaklin Zhablyanov started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naum Mentov in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Stelea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bogdan Stelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaklin Zhablyanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes, Vaklin Zhablyanov made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Stelea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuil Neychev came free, but Bogdan Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Calistrat Potopea took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nikola Drinov to make any attempt to save it. In the 27th minute, Min Jaeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dragoş Cordescu, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bogdan Stelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naum Mentov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikola Drinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Barbăroșie, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bogdan Stelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argir Fikov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikola Drinov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calistrat Potopea's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Bogdan Stelea came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Laziali's Naum Mentov. But to his dismay, Naum Mentov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Calistrat Potopea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Șerban Rusu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Șerban Rusu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Șerban Rusu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laziali:s goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iacob Irimescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Calistrat Potopea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doncho Tzvetkov got free with Bogdan Stelea in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calistrat Potopea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihnea Găină kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Laziali's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Barbăroșie came free, but Nikola Drinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikola Drinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Irimescu in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match F.C CLUJ MEDICINA got a corner. Laziali's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dragoş Cordescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's corner Dragoş Cordescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nikola Drinov quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Laziali's Naum Mentov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bogdan Stelea. That made the score 1-3 after 71 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Laziali's Naum Mentov got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Nikola Drinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Irimescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Min Jaeger fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laziali's protests and gave Min Jaeger a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Laziali got a freekick which was hit by Min Jaeger. If Iacob Irimescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Laziali's Naum Mentov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bogdan Stelea. That made the score 1-4 after 83 minutes of play. Bogdan Stelea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaklin Zhablyanov in the 86th minute. Bogdan Stelea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argir Fikov in the 92nd minute of the match. Nikola Drinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Barbăroșie, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Laziali eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
