Dániel Varga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Pereiras FC booed when TUSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jácint Kálmán didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Endre Kozma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, TUSE's goalkeeper Dániel Varga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Guilherme Trancoso. Jácint Kálmán's late challenge caught a Pereiras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jácint Kálmán helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, TUSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jácint Kálmán to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd match minute, TUSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márió Dömötör to maneuver through the defense. Konstantin Kondor was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Guilherme Trancoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute Pereiras FC were awarded a corner. TUSE's Dániel Varga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Palmeira in the 81st minute of play. If László Gyenes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enio Palmeira took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dániel Varga. Dániel Varga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pereiras FC had played much better football throughout.
