After 4 minutes, Modesto Marino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vipos FC and the Lunatics of Arianrhod players grew even worse after the yellow card. Modesto Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Braulio Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vipos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Chesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Davide Onori left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Braulio Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vipos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Chesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Mannucci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Alex Marcelli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vipos FC's Bernabe Herensuge. Bernabe Herensuge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Donato Fernendo made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Mannucci. Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when Vipos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Rojelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Alex Marcelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernabe Herensuge was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Emilio Albanesi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernabe Herensuge. Bernabe Herensuge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. 64 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Piti Martinez came free, but Ciro Mannucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Chesus in the 70th minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Ciro Mannucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Albanesi in the 71st minute of play forced Vipos FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Lunatics of Arianrhod defense, Braulio Chesus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Mannucci. The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Mannucci should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Elia Liaci hit a great ball. Ciro Mannucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Marino in the 79th minute of the match. Ciro Mannucci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piti Martinez's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The nice shot from Alex Marcelli in the 83rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Bernabe Herensuge had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 92nd match minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Migliorati to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Mannucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anama Ferreira in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Vipos FC got a corner. Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anama Ferreira ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Vipos FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
