Spectators: 7672 (Terracing: 5757, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 150) Cobresal's Florín Sances started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Eriberto Pincheira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Loramendi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th match minute, Cobresal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celino Alico to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Mayol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Ilixo in the 14th minute of play. Florín Sances took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Loramendi. Roman Loramendi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cobresal's Eriberto Pincheira got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Seber got free with Patricio Mayol in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. VAMO ARRIBA's Roman Loramendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alifonso Elorreaga in the 26th minute of play. After 26 played minutes VAMO ARRIBA got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Raebert. Roman Loramendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mercurio Miquel, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Xavi Thayer hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Patricio Mayol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Seber in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, one of Cobresal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cobresal. Patricio Mayol had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Aquiles Bladi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Lauaxeta made a kick off. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alifonso Elorreaga hit a great ball. Armando Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the game, Andres Virila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VAMO ARRIBA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobresal the free kick. In the 56th match minute, VAMO ARRIBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Virila to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Eduardo James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Eriberto Pincheira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Loramendi skillfully saved the ball. Raul Milio's late challenge caught a Cobresal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Milio helped the player get up and apologised. Raul Milio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Roman Loramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavi Thayer in the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Cobresal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Bermudo to maneuver through the defense. Mercurio Miquel's late challenge caught a VAMO ARRIBA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mercurio Miquel helped the player get up and apologised. Gilberto Lauaxeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Patricio Mayol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cobresal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
