After a rather tough play, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Ildefonso Licerio got a free kick in the 9th minute. Christian Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Elivareo having to interfere. After some careless play in the COURO COME FC defense, Arnulfo Mundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Pontes. The COURO COME FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Pontes should have stopped the shot. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Virgilio Chumo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Walmir Vale in the 16 minute of the game. Wilian Carioca hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Eustaquio Elivareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Carioca in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Vinhas got free with Eustaquio Elivareo in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, COURO COME FC's Dieguinho Silveira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dieguinho Silveira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of COURO COME FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dieguinho Silveira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 22 minutes into the game, one of COURO COME FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. José Maria Pontes had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Maximiliano Eguzki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 25th minute Arnulfo Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Vinhas took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustaquio Elivareo. Eustaquio Elivareo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 42 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Txaran. Benê Alvarenga managed to trick El Renacer del Quijano FC's defense and made a shot which however Eustaquio Elivareo didn't slip through. A nice save in the 44thth minute. COURO COME FC's Benê Alvarenga was responsible for 2-1 with a brilliant performance in the 44th minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Eustaquio Elivareo. Eustaquio Elivareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Vinhas in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnulfo Mundo was the one to do the kick off. José Maria Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Nildo Pereira made in the 58th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which César Vinhas however managed to control. After 66 minutes of play, COURO COME FC's César Vinhas made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Elivareo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in COURO COME FC's zone, Arnulfo Mundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Pontes came out of the goal and Arnulfo Mundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Elivareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. José Maria Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Mundo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 82 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Pereira. A collision led to El Renacer del Quijano FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Anacleto Txaran hit a great ball. After 85 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by César Vinhas. A collision led to COURO COME FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. César Vinhas hit a great ball. Virgilio Chumo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
