Shpati Gallo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandu Botnaru went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Stefan Vanghele fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Puturoasa's protests and gave Stefan Vanghele a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes UFC Puturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Vanghele. After 8 minutes, Meleq Tare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mali i Thatë FC and the UFC Puturoasa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mali i Thatë FC's Meleq Tare got a free kick in the 8th minute. UFC Puturoasa's Thibaut Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save UFC Puturoasa from getting a goal against them. Shpati Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Ciocan in the 12th minute of play. Zihni Dervishi's late challenge caught a UFC Puturoasa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zihni Dervishi helped the player get up and apologised. Mali i Thatë FC:s Shpati Gallo showed great skill when he stopped Stefan Vanghele:s penalty. If Meleq Tare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ruslan Pânzaru fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Puturoasa's protests and gave Ruslan Pânzaru a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to UFC Puturoasa getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ruslan Pânzaru hit a great ball. Shpati Gallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Vanghele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erald Bauta struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Thibaut Courtois didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mali i Thatë FC. If Stefan Vanghele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shpati Gallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Vanghele in the 36th minute of the match. Meleq Tare's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Thibaut Courtois skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Peshkatari in the 40th minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandu Botnaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Shpati Gallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Meleq Tare to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Mali i Thatë FC's Meleq Tare made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thibaut Courtois was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ghenadie Bâtcã struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Shpati Gallo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC Puturoasa. Shpati Gallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Botnaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Jetbardh Cake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute Stefan Vanghele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shpati Gallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stefan Vanghele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Mali i Thatë FC defense, Stefan Vanghele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shpati Gallo. The Mali i Thatë FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shpati Gallo should have stopped the shot. Mali i Thatë FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Alexandru Ciocan scored to the left of an out of position Shpati Gallo, making the score, 2-3. In the 90th minute, Zihni Dervishi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Vanghele kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. UFC Puturoasa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
