Patricio Mayol stood somewhat misplaced when Stefan Vanghele came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavi Thayer in the 19th minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Zelipe Recabarren hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as UFC Puturoasa's Pavel Spãtaru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patricio Mayol. That made the score 3-0 after 31 minutes of play. When Eriberto Pincheira fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cobresal's protests and gave Eriberto Pincheira a yellow card for diving instead. Eriberto Pincheira hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Pavel Spãtaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Alexei Caraman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Xavi Thayer hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Alexei Caraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Mayol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cobresal booed when UFC Puturoasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Bumbu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The UFC Puturoasa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cobresal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
