Drini Kapaj had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Thomas Skadberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 13th match minute, Kjønstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karsten Thorkildsen to maneuver through the defense. Drini Kapaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Sæter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Ivar Bjørgo scored 2-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Drini Kapaj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Meleq Tare made a kick off. Fredrik Iqbal hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Iqbal got free with Drini Kapaj in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kjønstad BF's Philip Sjøberg suffered a sore thigh after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 80 minutes, Erald Bauta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mali i Thatë FC and the Kjønstad BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kjønstad BF's Jon Fischer was substituted for Philip Sjøberg. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
