Spectators: 7852 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilfredo Eneko started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Wilfredo Eneko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doriva Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Zima in the 5th minute of play. Reginaldo Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reginaldo Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reginaldo Borges hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, FC LIVERPOOL's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Queirós came free, but Tommy Thompson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Wilfredo Eneko scored to the left of an out of position Doriva Simões, making the score, 2-0. Gino Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Simões having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Zima came free, but Doriva Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes FC LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Dale Dingle. A collision led to CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Artur Sarmento hit a great ball. After 29 minutes, Artur Sarmento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ and the FC LIVERPOOL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Artur Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Boguslaw Hoffman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Doriva Simões. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, FC LIVERPOOL's Wilfredo Eneko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Zima in the 36th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Doriva Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, FC LIVERPOOL's Des Bancroft ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Doriva Simões. Doriva Simões yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. In the 42nd minute, Wilfredo Eneko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doriva Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 47th minute, Sylwester Zima reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doriva Simões. The goal made the score 8-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Des Bancroft managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC LIVERPOOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Des Bancroft was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ booed when FC LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Lachmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Júnior Tinoco from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Tommy Thompson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 58 minutes into the game, FC LIVERPOOL's Wilfredo Eneko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doriva Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Natã Koehler replaced Ediberto Xavier. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Kauan Garcia was substituted for Edinho Favoretto. FC LIVERPOOL's Stew Jewson was substituted for Boguslaw Hoffman. In the 69th match minute, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Eneko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauan Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. FC LIVERPOOL's Tommy Thompson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agnaldo Sampaio in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of FC LIVERPOOL booed when CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 minutes of play, FC LIVERPOOL's Wilfredo Eneko made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doriva Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute Ed Sills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the FC LIVERPOOL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
