Sebastian Szymanski started the match with the kick off. Yavuz Selimhan Yağan charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yavuz Selimhan Yağan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. STARS TEAM's Veli Özbek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Szymanski in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Wayer in the 8th minute of play forced STARS TEAM's goalkeeper Veli Özbek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fatmir Zollt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Albérico Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STARS TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albérico Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerlach Rogatty's late challenge caught a STARS TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerlach Rogatty helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, KFC Uerdingen 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerlach Rogatty to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute, STARS TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necip Uysal to maneuver through the defense. Atilla Kağan Nevzat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyrell Springer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Veli Özbek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Zürner in the 37th minute of the match. Veli Özbek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aage Schwabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 39 minutes, Sertel Rahmi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the STARS TEAM and the KFC Uerdingen 05 players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albérico Cortez in the 43rd minute of play forced KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Tyrell Springer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aage Schwabe took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Veli Özbek. Veli Özbek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Albérico Cortez made the kick off in the second half. If Albérico Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Stephan Wayer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veli Özbek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aage Schwabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Sertel Rahmi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Sebastian Szymanski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Veli Özbek made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, STARS TEAM's goalkeeper Veli Özbek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Szymanski. 86 minutes into the game, Can Toraman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STARS TEAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Uerdingen 05 the free kick. After 87 played minutes STARS TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Can Toraman. The supporters of KFC Uerdingen 05 booed when STARS TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Selimhan Yağan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, STARS TEAM's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sebastian Szymanski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Albérico Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes of play STARS TEAM's Necip Uysal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, STARS TEAM's Necip Uysal got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KFC Uerdingen 05 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
