After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Bruce Pesch managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a rather tough play, 【粤】Leeds United.F.C.'s 胡傲桑 got a free kick in the 45th minute. Andy Zeyer, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 毛亦思 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ture Nadolski went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruce Pesch to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, 【粤】Leeds United.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 康荣笑 to maneuver through the defense. Richie Golz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes 【粤】Leeds United.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by 康荣笑. Andy Zeyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when 许博枫 came free, but Richie Golz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Werner Geißler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richie Golz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 许博枫, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 毛亦思 made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ture Nadolski sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Ture Nadolski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 毛亦思. That made the score 1-5 after 77 minutes of play. 82 minutes into the game, Bruce Pesch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 毛亦思. Bruce Pesch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. In the 85th minute, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Bruce Pesch dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Richie Golz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 许博枫, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ture Nadolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but 毛亦思 made a huge save. 毛亦思 was a little too slow when Ture Nadolski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-8. The 【粤】Leeds United.F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
