After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Costică Stoleru got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ildefonso Frascuelo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Dinu Gherguț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Marc Apelkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DARAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Valea Buzăului the free kick. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Marc Apelkvist hit a great ball. Toni Nenchev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ionică Buzgar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Sandro Ormea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ionică Buzgar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Sandro Ormea 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, DARAS's Ildefonso Frascuelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cosmin Galiceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 30th minute, Ildefonso Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayındır Seyfullah in the 32nd minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ionică Buzgar managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionică Buzgar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Ormea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ildefonso Frascuelo took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosmin Galiceanu. Cosmin Galiceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragolyub Novakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Frascuelo to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Toni Nenchev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DARAS and the -BZF- Valea Buzăului players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Nenchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Ildefonso Frascuelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DARAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Sandro Ormea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Buzgar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Ionică Buzgar put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sandro Ormea. Cosmin Galiceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Seyfullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ildefonso Frascuelo's late challenge caught a -BZF- Valea Buzăului's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costică Stoleru made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristinel Ulici.
