Spectators: 7751 (Terracing: 5815, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ermanno Moscatelli took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Dragan Mangezov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DARAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.S. Udinese the free kick. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Dragan Mangezov got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Sandro Ormea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Moscatelli in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, A.S. Udinese's Corrado Restaino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Corrado Restaino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of A.S. Udinese protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Corrado Restaino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dragan Mangezov missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 10 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Fedele Schiacciacasse right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Cagnetta during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Alexander Cagnetta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fedele Schiacciacasse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Nenchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Ermanno Moscatelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippo Di Cesare got free with Sandro Ormea in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandro Ormea made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ermanno Moscatelli sent off a good shot on target. Filippo Di Cesare might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Ormea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filippo Di Cesare ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute Ildefonso Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Schiacciacasse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Nenchev took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fedele Schiacciacasse. Fedele Schiacciacasse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sandro Ormea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Moscatelli in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes DARAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filippo Di Cesare who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Filippo Di Cesare got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sandro Ormea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ildefonso Frascuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ermanno Moscatelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sandro Ormea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Moscatelli in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Toni Nenchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Schiacciacasse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 67th minute Filippo Di Cesare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Ormea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.S. Udinese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filippo Di Cesare in the 68th minute. The corner led A.S. Udinese's Filippo Di Cesare to fire away a dangerous shot which Sandro Ormea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Silvio Che hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. DARAS's Sandro Ormea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Di Cesare in the 88th minute of play. Toni Nenchev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Fedele Schiacciacasse made a huge save. Ildefonso Frascuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Schiacciacasse having to interfere. Chants of DARAS echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as A.S. Udinese had held the ball for most of the match.
