Kraig McAlphie started the match with the kick off. Ionică Buzgar hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Cosmin Galiceanu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Draconia's Kristof Van Dessen. But to his dismay, Kristof Van Dessen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Spineanu in the 20th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Uwe Nwachukwu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Moerman in the 22nd minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Jerry Moerman made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cosmin Galiceanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, FC Draconia's Uwe Nwachukwu got control of the ball when Iona Tudora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Uwe Nwachukwu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to FC Draconia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Klaus Dhondt hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Ana Ţugui came free, but Uwe Nwachukwu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iona Tudora in the 36th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Uwe Nwachukwu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to -BZF- Valea Buzăului getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Iona Tudora hit a great ball. Cosmin Galiceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristof Van Dessen, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cosmin Galiceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristof Van Dessen went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ana Ţugui made the kick off in the second half. Uwe Nwachukwu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iona Tudora, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. FC Draconia's Uwe Nwachukwu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Spineanu in the 57th minute of play. Kristof Van Dessen hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Jim Janssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmin Galiceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristof Van Dessen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uwe Nwachukwu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Buzgar in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Jerry Moerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Draconia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cosmin Galiceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig McAlphie in the 80th minute of play. Cosmin Galiceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kraig McAlphie in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Ivan Spineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Nwachukwu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Ana Ţugui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uwe Nwachukwu. FC Draconia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ana Ţugui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Draconia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
