In the 26th minute, Luca Ternes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bruno Elia, passed just outside the right post. Norman-Alexander Wellmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Chano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by FV Wienerwald's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonel Aurken was slow to take the kick. During this time Wallace FC's players had a chance to rest. Joachim Schlagbauer tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Norman-Alexander Wellmann. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 30th minute. Bruno Elia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andre-Yann Kahofer in the 35th minute. When Bastian Buchwalder fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FV Wienerwald's protests and gave Bastian Buchwalder a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Buchwalder to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 41 minutes, Luca Ternes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FV Wienerwald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Ternes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Rami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Norman-Alexander Wellmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luca Ternes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ceferino Palos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallace FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Palos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norman-Alexander Wellmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute Andre-Yann Kahofer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Elia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led FV Wienerwald's Jan-André Dospel to fire away a dangerous shot which Bruno Elia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Wallace FC booed when FV Wienerwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philipp Haberer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Tommi Braun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Elia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Elia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommi Braun in the 93rd minute of the match. When the match was over Wallace FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FV Wienerwald throughout the match.
