When Claudinei do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the AS Pikachuzim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei do Valle couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Urzicuța's zone, Cristian Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mircea Avacariței came out of the goal and Cristian Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jaime Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the AS Pikachuzim fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, FC Urzicuța's Martin Racoviceanu got a free kick in the 30th minute. Mircea Avacariței was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gil Vale. FC Urzicuța's Mircea Avacariței played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Batista in the 37th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Mircea Avacariței had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Bittencourt.
Victor da Fonseca's late challenge caught a FC Urzicuța's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
