A collision led to FC Urzicuța getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Iurie Ogășanu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Queens of Lublin's zone, Turgay Sökmensu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrzej Tychy came out of the goal and Turgay Sökmensu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Maghiran in the 15th minute of play forced Queens of Lublin's goalkeeper Andrzej Tychy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute of the match FC Urzicuța got a corner. Queens of Lublin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nik Nicola ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 16th minute, Dragoş Pacuraru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Urzicuța booed when Queens of Lublin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Pop didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Sandu Baltian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Queens of Lublin's Ale Drewniak tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ale Pipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mircea Avacariței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mircea Avacariței showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Pop in the 25th minute of the match. Turgay Sökmensu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. FC Urzicuța's Mircea Avacariței played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Falkiewicz in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicu Maghiran in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrzej Tychy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Andrzej Pop ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mircea Avacariței was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 44 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Nik Nicola. Mircea Avacariței showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Pop, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Queens of Lublin were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicu Maghiran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Urzicuța getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Andrei Nicola hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrzej Pop during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st minute, Andrzej Pop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Nik Nicola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrzej Tychy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ale Dzik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mircea Avacariței came out and tried to block the shot, but Ale Dzik slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 57th minute. Mircea Avacariței was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Andrzej Pop capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrzej Pop really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Marian Sfetcu charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Sfetcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Urzicuța getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Marian Sfetcu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Urzicuța's Nicu Maghiran got a free kick in the 64th minute. FC Urzicuța's Mircea Avacariței played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ale Pipa in the 65th minute of play. Mircea Avacariței showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Pop in the 67th minute of the match. If Ale Dzik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicu Maghiran in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrzej Tychy saved Queens of Lublin from getting behind. Sandu Baltian kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 played minutes, Queens of Lublin's Ale Drewniak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mircea Avacariței came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Queens of Lublin reached it. When Turgay Sökmensu fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Urzicuța's protests and gave Turgay Sökmensu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Queens of Lublin's Juliusz Kisiel got a free kick in the 89th minute. Nicu Maghiran struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Andrzej Tychy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Urzicuța. When Turgay Sökmensu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. The supporters of Queens of Lublin booed when FC Urzicuța was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turgay Sökmensu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Queens of Lublin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
