Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristian Bittencourt got the match started through his kick off. After 6 minutes AS Pikachuzim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tor-Egil Arntsen who took care of the corner kick. Kenneth Foldnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bastian Ytterstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vito Batista took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olav Øverby. Olav Øverby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tor-Egil Arntsen, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. AS Pikachuzim's Gil Vale shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Olav Øverby but with some difficulty. Olav Øverby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Bittencourt in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Brufoss IL's zone, Vito Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olav Øverby came out of the goal and Vito Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olav Øverby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Leif Mæhlum. In the 44th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bendik Strande to maneuver through the defense. Vito Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
After 57 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Egil Arntsen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Bittencourt in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olav Øverby saved Brufoss IL from getting behind. Olav Øverby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bastian Ytterstad hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Cristian Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Pikachuzim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Brufoss IL's Eskil Almaas was substituted for Tore Fagermo. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Kim-André Valle replaced Leif Mæhlum. In the 83rd minute, AS Pikachuzim's Laerte Toscano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Laerte Toscano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AS Pikachuzim protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Laerte Toscano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, AS Pikachuzim's Laerte Toscano got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Brufoss IL's Bendik Strande got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Bittencourt in the 86th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Olav Øverby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Bittencourt in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olav Øverby saved Brufoss IL from getting behind. Brufoss IL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
