The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Oanță during the 7th minute. Mark Kimman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Maghiran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elmar Neijsen hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lemel SV's Mark Kimman got control of the ball when Nicu Maghiran tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Baltian. The audience cheered when Teun Schoenmakers's long shot passed Mircea Avacariței's right side. It was 0-2, 40 minutes into the match. Nicu Maghiran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Kimman having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teun Schoenmakers to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Teun Schoenmakers hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Dan Oanță shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Kimman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Urzicuța's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teun Schoenmakers was slow to take the kick. During this time Lemel SV's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Teun Schoenmakers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Urzicuța's Mircea Avacariței did a great save. With his leg Mircea Avacariței managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Lemel SV's Teun Schoenmakers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
