After 28 minutes, Guus Rinzema mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lemel SV and the FV Wienerwald players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Guus Rinzema hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes, FV Wienerwald's Jan-André Dospel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mark Kimman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FV Wienerwald reached it. Norman-Alexander Wellmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teun Schoenmakers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teun Schoenmakers in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norman-Alexander Wellmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the game, Lemel SV's Teun Schoenmakers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, Lemel SV's Mark Kimman got control of the ball when Andre-Yann Kahofer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Smibum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teun Schoenmakers to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Teun Schoenmakers came free, but Norman-Alexander Wellmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Andre-Yann Kahofer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Kimman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FV Wienerwald fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when FV Wienerwald's Luca Ternes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 56 minutes into the game, Rudi Hateboer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lemel SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FV Wienerwald the free kick. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudi Hateboer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Rudi Hateboer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Kimman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Giesen in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Smibum to maneuver through the defense. If Luca Ternes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Verbeek in the 64th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Wellmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teun Schoenmakers struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Norman-Alexander Wellmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lemel SV. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Till-Julius Spengler got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Giesen came free, but Mark Kimman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Verbeek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teun Schoenmakers in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Eddy Niemeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Jan-André Dospel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Kimman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FV Wienerwald's Norman-Alexander Wellmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FV Wienerwald from getting a goal against them. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koos Teunissen in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
