In the 5th minute of the match Lemel SV got a corner. Pracusiowie's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teun Schoenmakers ran over to the corner to take the kick. 8 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's Teun Schoenmakers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Tworek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 9 minutes Pracusiowie's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teun Schoenmakers who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Teun Schoenmakers got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Igor Tworek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lemel SV's Teun Schoenmakers got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wincent Dulemba hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes, Gerard Keupink mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lemel SV and the Pracusiowie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerard Keupink kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Wincent Dulemba in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lemel SV's Teun Schoenmakers. After a rather tough play, Pracusiowie's Wincent Dulemba got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Wincent Dulemba charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wincent Dulemba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when Pracusiowie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Dulemba didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gerard Keupink was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. Gerard Keupink hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Koos Teunissen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teun Schoenmakers in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Tworek saved Pracusiowie from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Teun Schoenmakers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Tworek was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Drebit in the 43rd minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Mark Kimman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Kimman came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Pracusiowie's Barnaba Chlapowski. But to his dismay, Barnaba Chlapowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksander Latocha to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Verbeek to maneuver through the defense. Igor Tworek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Verbeek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lemel SV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teun Schoenmakers in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Rudi Hateboer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Igor Tworek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mark Kimman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Chlapowski in the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Chlapowski came free, but Mark Kimman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teun Schoenmakers in the 68th minute of play forced Pracusiowie's goalkeeper Igor Tworek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnaba Chlapowski hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Teun Schoenmakers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemel SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teun Schoenmakers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Koos Teunissen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Tworek having to interfere. Ksawery Byczewski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Teun Schoenmakers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute Teun Schoenmakers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Tworek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
