Lemel SV's Teun Schoenmakers got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Brufoss IL defense, Teun Schoenmakers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olav Øverby. The Brufoss IL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olav Øverby should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute Teun Schoenmakers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olav Øverby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Olav Øverby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Ton Janus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lemel SV and the Brufoss IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ton Janus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mark Kimman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastian Ytterstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. With a little luck, Lemel SV's Mark Kimman got control of the ball when Tor-Egil Arntsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Teun Schoenmakers got a free kick in the 69th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Kim-André Valle threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lemel SV's Peter Smibum quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Olav Øverby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teun Schoenmakers in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Brufoss IL's zone, Teun Schoenmakers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olav Øverby came out of the goal and Teun Schoenmakers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 minutes of play, Lemel SV's Teun Schoenmakers made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olav Øverby was left in no man's land by his defense there! The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
