Bastian Ytterstad scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luiz Matorin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, AS Pikachuzim's Pedro Luiz Matorin got control of the ball when Bendik Strande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olav Øverby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor da Fonseca went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 28 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Bittencourt. In the 31st minute, Cristian Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Bittencourt might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olav Øverby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Bittencourt ran back to his position shaking his head. Olav Øverby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Bittencourt in the 37th minute of the match. Bendik Strande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Pedro Luiz Matorin made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gildo da Fonseca during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Jørund Nyhagen. Laerte Toscano took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olav Øverby. Olav Øverby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

The wind increased when Tor-Egil Arntsen made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Tor-Egil Arntsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Luiz Matorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 55 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Egil Arntsen. Kenneth Foldnes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Dadá Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dadá Torres got free with Olav Øverby in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Gildo da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match, Dadá Torres got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olav Øverby was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 78 minutes, Kim-André Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brufoss IL and the AS Pikachuzim players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Kim-André Valle got a free kick in the 78th minute. The long shot by Gil Vale in the 79th minute really tested Olav Øverby's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Cristian Bittencourt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jørund Nyhagen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. AS Pikachuzim's Gil Vale couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brufoss IL. Vito Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olav Øverby having to interfere. Olav Øverby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dadá Torres in the 97th minute. Brufoss IL succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though AS Pikachuzim had controlled the match.
