The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gildo da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Jan-André Dospel got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a little luck, FV Wienerwald's Norman-Alexander Wellmann got control of the ball when Victor da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harald Delb kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Gildo da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Bittencourt came free, but Norman-Alexander Wellmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Ternes in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Luca Ternes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FV Wienerwald getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jan-André Dospel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Bittencourt in the 43rd minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Wellmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Delb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Victor da Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Varela to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Giesen in the 66th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Claudinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gildo da Fonseca hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Claudinei do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-André Dospel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When FV Wienerwald's Harald Delb, in the 79th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FV Wienerwald. After having played for 82 minutes, Gildo da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AS Pikachuzim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Tommi Braun fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 89 minutes, Luca Ternes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. AS Pikachuzim's Claudinho Moura tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Gildo da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FV Wienerwald's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
