After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Froilan Gau got a free kick in the 10th minute. Federico Vilchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when SAPRIMECKBEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomon Lankaster didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes, Bahía é Carnaval's Francisco Orlo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Federico Vilchez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bahía é Carnaval reached it. The supporters of SAPRIMECKBEL booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Orlando Cordoba fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAPRIMECKBEL's protests and gave Orlando Cordoba a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Delfino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Froilan Gau made a precise shot to the right of Federico Vilchez. SAPRIMECKBEL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Celso Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sergio Romeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bernardo Saborio, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sergio Romeri was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Melchor Nayely kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Melchor Nayely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Vilchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Ishmael in the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Ishmael came free, but Federico Vilchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Alvaro Ishmael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahía é Carnaval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Ishmael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Ishmael took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Vilchez. Federico Vilchez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, SAPRIMECKBEL's Salomon Lankaster got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute Alonzo Delfino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Vilchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, SAPRIMECKBEL's Sergio Romeri threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernardo Saborio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bernardo Saborio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Romeri having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the SAPRIMECKBEL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bahía é Carnaval.
