Spectators: 7701 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hermengildo Rufio started the match with the kick off. Hermengildo Rufio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sergio Romeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rivermania FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruperto Odol was slow to take the kick. During this time Bahía é Carnaval's players had a chance to rest. The Rivermania FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Rivermania FC's Dionisio Abascal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute, Hermengildo Rufio made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Romeri. Bahía é Carnaval's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Alonzo Delfino got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Rufio in the 22nd minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Sergio Romeri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Abaunza's late challenge caught a Rivermania FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Abaunza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Abaunza to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Romeri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Rufio in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Melchor Nayely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Muc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Delfino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Rivermania FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Melchor Nayely fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Ishmael came free, but Santo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Serafino Chuan hit a great ball. Santo Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Delfino in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Alonzo Delfino made the kick off in the second half. Sergio Romeri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafino Chuan in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Hermengildo Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Dionisio Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Dionisio Abascal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Romeri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 73 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Ishmael came free, but Santo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Dionisio Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchor Nayely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Muc having to interfere. Francisco Orlo's late challenge caught a Rivermania FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Orlo helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Orlo. Santo Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Ishmael, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hermengildo Rufio 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. 95 minutes in the game, Dionisio Abascal dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rivermania FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
