Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) 3 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Bergendahl came free, but Fidel Lecea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Warberg FC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Warberg FC's Johannes Bergendahl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rene Carrandi hit a great ball. The supporters of Warberg FC booed when Loja S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veronica Sabugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Lecea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Bergendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Rene Carrandi came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lars-Erik Pettersson could save by the left post. When Felix Pascua came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Loja S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Pascua couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Göran Ekeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Lecea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Lars-Erik Pettersson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lars-Erik Pettersson came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Loja S.C.'s Veronica Sabugo. But to his dismay, Veronica Sabugo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 31 minutes, Felix Pascua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loja S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Pascua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Warberg FC's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Pettersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Carrandi. Fidel Lecea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Vibjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Loja S.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isaac Elg was slow to take the kick. During this time Warberg FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Warberg FC's corner Isaac Elg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fidel Lecea quite easily take care of the ball. In the 48th minute Johannes Bergendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Lecea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 56 minutes, Felix Pascua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loja S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Pascua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Pascua in the 61st minute of play forced Warberg FC's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loja S.C.'s Fidel Lecea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Loja S.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtun Baldaliso in the 70th minute of play forced Warberg FC's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Loja S.C.'s Isaias Mobilla to fire away a dangerous shot which Lars-Erik Pettersson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lars-Erik Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veronica Sabugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Loja S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Urtun Baldaliso. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rene Carrandi hit a great ball. Veronica Sabugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felix Pascua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars-Erik Pettersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play.
