With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júnior Soeiro in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Romeri saved Bahía é Carnaval from getting behind. Melchor Nayely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergio Romeri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Silva in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Nayely to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ruperto Odol hit a great ball. Francisco Orlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jailson Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Carlos Vasconcelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Melchor Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Nayely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Bahía é Carnaval's Francisco Orlo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jailson Trigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melchor Nayely went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Alonzo Delfino hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Alvaro Ishmael got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Silva in the 53rd minute of play. Sergio Romeri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Silva in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Ulisses Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Gau got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Gau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Nayely to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Ulisses Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Melchor Nayely cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jailson Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Bahía é Carnaval fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
