Federico Vilchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaan Erginsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. If Kaan Erginsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Vilchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaan Erginsoy in the 7th minute of play. Federico Vilchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Baki Uzsoy in the 9th minute of the match. SAPRIMECKBEL's Orlando Cordoba suffered a sore thigh after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Reynaldo Huetar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Haydar Özdinç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Vilchez having to make a save. Ahmet Baki Uzsoy hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Federico Vilchez came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by istanbulls's Ahmet Baki Uzsoy. But to his dismay, Ahmet Baki Uzsoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 33rd minute Bernardo Saborio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatemi Cire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Araya made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Celso Morales however managed to control. Hatemi Cire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Morales in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to SAPRIMECKBEL getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bernardo Saborio hit a great ball. Ahmet Baki Uzsoy took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Vilchez. Federico Vilchez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Baki Uzsoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of istanbulls booed when SAPRIMECKBEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Oğuz Şengil came free, but Federico Vilchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hazım Hastimur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Araya hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a little luck, SAPRIMECKBEL's Federico Vilchez got control of the ball when Ahmet Baki Uzsoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match, Kaan Erginsoy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Federico Vilchez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SAPRIMECKBEL's Celso Morales got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SAPRIMECKBEL's Federico Vilchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaan Erginsoy in the 70th minute of play. istanbulls's Ahmet Baki Uzsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Vilchez stood somewhat misplaced when Ahmet Baki Uzsoy came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 73 minute. The supporters of istanbulls booed when SAPRIMECKBEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Vilchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Baki Uzsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Baki Uzsoy in the 81st minute of play forced SAPRIMECKBEL's goalkeeper Federico Vilchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes of play, istanbulls's Ahmet Baki Uzsoy made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Vilchez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Federico Vilchez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Baki Uzsoy in the 92nd minute. The SAPRIMECKBEL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. istanbulls were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
