Federico Vilchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when SAPRIMECKBEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Thome didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Saborio in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Araya in the 64th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Sergio Romeri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Teofilio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Genaro Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Chants of Bahía é Carnaval echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SAPRIMECKBEL had held the ball for most of the match.
