The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Luiz Esteves was the one to do the kick off. When Aureliusz Cuber fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Rudzianka Szczecin's protests and gave Aureliusz Cuber a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of FC Rudzianka Szczecin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Joinville Esporte Clube:s goal. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Bebeto Leal got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Praski in the 63rd minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Wellington Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Deivid Vaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radowit Lech was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iwan Kiewra hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 91 minutes, Bebeto Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joinville Esporte Clube and the FC Rudzianka Szczecin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wellington Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Ciechanowicz in the 94th minute of play. If Marcin Ciechanowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franciszek Japola hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
