Sabaneta FC's Lautaro Estebanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Arend van Zijl in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Bal op het Dak's Julius van Zijl got control of the ball when Frisco Arroyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Sabaneta FC defense, Rafael de Groot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Estebanez. The Sabaneta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Estebanez should have stopped the shot. Julius van Zijl came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Sabaneta FC's Frisco Arroyo. But to his dismay, Frisco Arroyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lautaro Estebanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martien Degenkamp in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geert Arend van Zijl in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Estebanez saved Sabaneta FC from getting behind. Sabaneta FC's Lautaro Estebanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Arend van Zijl in the 26th minute of play. When FC Bal op het Dak's Geert Arend van Zijl in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 37 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Ruy. In the 39th minute, Fernandez Cueva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Sabaneta FC's Julius van Zijl threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernandez Cueva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Martien Degenkamp charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martien Degenkamp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Bal op het Dak getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Martien Degenkamp hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Angulo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Manu Agostino. Julius van Zijl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frisco Arroyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Sabaneta FC's Salomón Turiel got a free kick in the 59th minute. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Martien Degenkamp sped through Sabaneta FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Estebanez. 64 minutes into the game, Salomón Turiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabaneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bal op het Dak the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Sabaneta FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Bal op het Dak:s goal. Martien Degenkamp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Estebanez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 71 played minutes FC Bal op het Dak got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Blaauwgeers. Shepherd Miramontes hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When FC Bal op het Dak's Martien Degenkamp in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Bal op het Dak were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Sabaneta FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geert Arend van Zijl took the corner. The corner led FC Bal op het Dak's Geert Arend van Zijl to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Estebanez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Sabaneta FC booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arjan Breugel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Geert Arend van Zijl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Estebanez was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. If Kristof Numan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Frisco Arroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius van Zijl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes, Manu Agostino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabaneta FC and the FC Bal op het Dak players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when Sabaneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manu Agostino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Geert Arend van Zijl tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lautaro Estebanez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 96 minutes, Geert Arend van Zijl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geert Arend van Zijl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute Rafael de Groot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Estebanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
