Spectators: 7762 (Terracing: 5823, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agnaldo Paes kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Joinville Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Leite. Rafael de Groot kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Wellington Montenegro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Geert Arend van Zijl. 15 minutes into the match, Klaas Jan Lammers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wellington Montenegro, 1-0. When Rafael de Groot fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bal op het Dak's protests and gave Rafael de Groot a yellow card for diving instead. Rafael de Groot hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Paes came free, but Julius van Zijl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when Joinville Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Deivid Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius van Zijl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Montenegro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael de Groot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. A collision led to FC Bal op het Dak getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Arjan Breugel hit a great ball.

The audience was convinced that Martien Degenkamp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellington Montenegro was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Klaas Jan Lammers managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaas Jan Lammers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geert Arend van Zijl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th match minute, FC Bal op het Dak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael de Groot to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Joinville Esporte Clube defense, Martien Degenkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wellington Montenegro. The Joinville Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellington Montenegro should have stopped the shot. Geert Arend van Zijl struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Wellington Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bal op het Dak. Deivid Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julius van Zijl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deivid Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Wellington Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Jan Lammers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Bal op het Dak had played much better football throughout.
