Pablo Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas Jan Lammers in the 15th minute of the match. Gert Jan Schutrups lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Lucio Egun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julius van Zijl. FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Bermund in the 21st minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Julius van Zijl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Jonathan Oroitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Pablo Ostadar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11 from getting a goal against them. Pablo Ostadar was a little too slow when Jan Rein Helwig got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-0. Pablo Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martien Degenkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Ostadar was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Martien Degenkamp capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martien Degenkamp really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justino Muc was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute Robustiano Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius van Zijl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Martien Degenkamp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Ostadar was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The referee gave FC Bal op het Dak a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Geert Arend van Zijl, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Pablo Ostadar. 6-0. 89 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Julius van Zijl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Muc. In the 94th minute, Jan Rein Helwig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Ostadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When Geert Arend van Zijl came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the FC Bal op het Dak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geert Arend van Zijl couldn't finish the play. FC Bal op het Dak's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
