Valério Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central FC. Alfredinho Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Transito having to interfere. Cristiano Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, Rosario Central FC's Virgilio Ishmael shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valério Seco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosario Central FC reached it. 18 minutes into the game, Guararapes's Alfredinho Oliveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascual Transito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Valério Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Precioso in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Guararapes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Clemente de Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Pascual Transito made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Ruy to make the kick off. Pascual Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente de Alcântara in the 51st minute of the match. Placido Luzaide kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Murillo Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Rosario Central FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Txaran to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Cristo Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Ruy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guararapes made a substitution. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez replaced Rogério Pimenta. Cléber Pirani hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Pascual Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente de Alcântara in the 70th minute of the match. Guararapes's Valério Seco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Guararapes from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Guararapes's Valério Seco got control of the ball when Paulo Precioso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
