Slawomir Gotfryd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Pimenta in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Reynaldo Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's Slawomir Gotfryd got control of the ball when Reynaldo Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reynaldo Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Slawomir Gotfryd made a huge save. Guararapes were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reynaldo Fernandez took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miroslaw Poteralski during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Wichniarek got free with Valério Seco in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Guararapes's goalkeeper Valério Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hubert Lewandowski. Guararapes's Conrado Leite was substituted for Rogério Pimenta. In the 74th minute of the match, Miroslaw Poteralski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valério Seco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Valério Seco was a little too slow when Miroslaw Poteralski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-1. FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's Slawomir Gotfryd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente de Alcântara in the 93rd minute of play. The Guararapes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's performance. The match ended with a win for FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala.
