Spectators: 7755 (Terracing: 5818, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredinho Oliveira took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Fernandez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Red Reign's Oso Udoy. Oso Udoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sandro Gener's late challenge caught a Guararapes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Gener helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Gener to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Héctor Neli to maneuver through the defense. Oso Udoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Oliveira in the 8th minute of the match. Arlín Telleria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Seco having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, Guararapes's goalkeeper Valério Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arlín Telleria. Héctor Neli kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Arlín Telleria took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valério Seco. Valério Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 41st minute, Héctor Neli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oso Udoy came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Guararapes's Reynaldo Fernandez. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateo Guareña made a kick off. Sandro Gener was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 57th match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Gener to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Red Reign were awarded a corner. Héctor Neli went to the cornerflag to take it. Red Reign's Héctor Neli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valério Seco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arlín Telleria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Guareña kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Oliveira in the 68th minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Oso Udoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oso Udoy was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Reynaldo Fernandez. Murillo Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Guararapes's Murillo Ferreira got a free kick in the 75th minute. Oso Udoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Red Reign's Arlín Telleria got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 85th match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Guareña to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Fontevilla hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Reynaldo Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Red Reign's attentive Mendez Beguellina managed to snatch the ball when Conrado Leite made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guararapes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
