If Ramos Cuyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Diego Osorio. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when chacarita juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 42 minutes of play, Penuel Football Club's Ramos Cuyar made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Platon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eron Reguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Claus in the 45th minute of play. When Primitivo Claus came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the chacarita juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Claus couldn't finish the play.

51 minutes into the game, Jorge Rojas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penuel Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave chacarita juniors the free kick. In the 51st minute, Jorge Rojas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eron Reguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Claus in the 52nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Penuel Football Club had won after a very even match.
