Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ilie Balaci got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Gyepüpataka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miklós Balogh to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Goiceanu in the 8th minute of play forced Gyepüpataka's goalkeeper Ferenc Szabó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Gyepüpataka got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Iorgu. Ferenc Szabó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Balaci in the 11th minute of play. Alexandru Budișteanu's late challenge caught a Gyepüpataka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandru Budișteanu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alexandru Budișteanu hit a great ball. Ilie Balaci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gyepüpataka's Ferenc Szabó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Balaci in the 18th minute of play. Ferenc Szabó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Balaci in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the game Miklós Balogh made a throw-in which Gyula Kali played forward. Ferenc Szabó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Balaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferenc Szabó came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Ilie Balaci. But to his dismay, Ilie Balaci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Gyepüpataka's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Balaci came free, but Ferenc Szabó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Cazan in the 31st minute of play forced F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Codruț Tuleiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gyepüpataka's Ferenc Szabó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Balaci in the 33rd minute of play. When Ilie Balaci came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilie Balaci couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Minteuan got free with Codruț Tuleiu in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Ilie Balaci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 46th minute, Silviu Simionescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidiu Minteuan to strike the kick off in the second half. Ilie Balaci hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Codruț Tuleiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szilárd Erdélyi in the 58th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Alin Stolniciu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferenc Szabó narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Erik Cantona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacian Goiceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dacian Goiceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dacian Goiceanu hit a great ball. When Costică Panait fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gyepüpataka's protests and gave Costică Panait a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gyepüpataka's Costică Panait got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Mihail Iorgu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gyepüpataka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 86 minutes into the match, Alin Stolniciu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferenc Szabó, 3-3. Gyepüpataka's Ferenc Szabó proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Gyepüpataka from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Gyepüpataka players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
