Spectators: 7774 (Terracing: 5831, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jimeno Seme started the match with the kick off. Lino Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Goiceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Houseman in the 7th minute of play forced F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Codruț Tuleiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Ilie Balaci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Rene Houseman came free, but Codruț Tuleiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s attentive Sandu Tudor managed to snatch the ball when Constantino Bemabe made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Codruț Tuleiu was a little too slow when Jimeno Seme got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-1. Cesar Ibanez kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Lino Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Balaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Erik Cantona got a free kick in the 38th minute. Codruț Tuleiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Garate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codruț Tuleiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Seme in the 42nd minute of play. Dacian Goiceanu's late challenge caught a Alijilán returns's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dacian Goiceanu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dacian Goiceanu hit a great ball. After 48 played minutes Alijilán returns got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Sagrario. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alin Stolniciu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Dacian Goiceanu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 55th minute, Dacian Goiceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alijilán returns were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolando Olayo took the corner. 67 minutes into the match, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Garate came free, but Codruț Tuleiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eduard Giubelean fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s protests and gave Eduard Giubelean a yellow card for diving instead. Eduard Giubelean kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, one of F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-. In the 87th minute, Cesar Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Eduard Giubelean seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eduard Giubelean the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eduard Giubelean had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 90th match minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Giubelean to maneuver through the defense. When Rolando Olayo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Alijilán returns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Olayo couldn't finish the play. Alexandru Budișteanu came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lino Naelio could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandru Budișteanu in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Naelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Alijilán returns's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sandu Tudor took the corner. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Sandu Tudor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lino Naelio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee ended the match the Alijilán returns players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
