Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) AZURDUY F.C.'s Cipriano Chuan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mihail Iorgu in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximino Millan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Maximino Millan made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Mihail Iorgu sent off a good shot on target. Ferenc Szabó didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Chuan went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximino Millan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidiu Minteuan. Cipriano Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cipriano Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AZURDUY F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Ovidiu Minteuan scored to the left of an out of position Maximino Millan, making the score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ovidiu Minteuan made a kick off. The supporters of Gyepüpataka booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Reno didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mihail Iorgu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miklós Balogh was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. Gyepüpataka made a substitution. David Crețu replaced Ovidiu Minteuan. 56 minutes into the game, one of Gyepüpataka:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gyepüpataka:s Ferenc Szabó showed great skill when he stopped Filomeno Firme:s penalty. 60 minutes into the game, Amador Hitzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AZURDUY F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gyepüpataka the free kick. In the 60th minute, Amador Hitzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cezar Vasilache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximino Millan. AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Szilárd Erdélyi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Millan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Gyepüpataka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cezar Vasilache in the 69th minute. Gyepüpataka's Cezar Vasilache was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximino Millan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Urbano Beliran hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gyula Kali during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Gyula Kali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Gamus hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Nicodim Cazan came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gyepüpataka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicodim Cazan couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Gyepüpataka's David Crețu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Millan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 97th minute, David Crețu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gyepüpataka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gyepüpataka had played much better football throughout.
