To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Osorio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ovalle in the 11th minute of play forced A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goalkeeper Patrick Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Penuel Football Club's Eron Reguer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Penuel Football Club from getting a goal against them. Eron Reguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Quirino came free, but Eron Reguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Maicon Magalhães tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eron Reguer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daniel Cavalcante hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Tomé Quirino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eron Reguer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eron Reguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Magalhães in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Cavalcante got free with Eron Reguer in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niceto Ovalle hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Patrick Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Rojas in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ovalle came free, but Patrick Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iuri Netto might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eron Reguer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iuri Netto ran back to his position shaking his head. Eron Reguer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomé Quirino's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomé Quirino was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Tomé Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eron Reguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Osorio in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Erik Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penuel Football Club the free kick. After 57 played minutes A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 got a freekick which was hit by Erik Leite. 59 minutes into the match, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goalkeeper Patrick Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Munio Larrieta. A collision led to Penuel Football Club getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Goizeder Getino hit a great ball. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Iraunkor Borinaga replaced Veronica Vielva. After 70 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Goizeder Getino. In the 71st minute of the match Luís Tróia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eron Reguer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Daniel Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Quirino in the 75th minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Eron Reguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomé Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eron Reguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Quirino in the 79th minute of play. Tomé Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Daniel Cavalcante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Eron Reguer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Maicon Magalhães looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iuri Netto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eron Reguer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Maicon Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eron Reguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Penuel Football Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.
