The Alexandria Team08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 8th minute, Alexandria Team08's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Donald Tusk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alexandria Team08's Fabian Isăcescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Hermansson in the 16th minute of play. Adrian Spirea hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Aurel Răducu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Donald Tusk hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Fabian Isăcescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciprian Caba in the 25th minute. Fabian Isăcescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Hermansson in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Valentin Susara hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Sven-Erik Hermansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Isăcescu. Alexandria Team08's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Erik Hermansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 40 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Adam Butnaru. In the 42nd minute Donald Tusk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Isăcescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Hermansson in the 45th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Fabian Isăcescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Isăcescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciprian Caba went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciprian Caba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sven-Erik Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee ignored AC Ony's protests and gave Albérico Lameiras a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, AC Ony was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albérico Lameiras to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciprian Milan in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Isăcescu saved Alexandria Team08 from getting behind. AC Ony's Cisco Rubial proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save AC Ony from getting a goal against them.
