Fabian Isăcescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Cobzeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Cristache charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Cristache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Cristache to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's Costel Cobzeanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Isăcescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17 minutes, Bogdan Goma made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Delphine Stars's Petruț Ţopescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Amânaloae in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petruț Ţopescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Manuel Amânaloae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alexandria Team08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Bogdan Goma's late challenge caught a Delphine Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogdan Goma helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mugur Gorcea during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when Delphine Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Gorcea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Susara. Bogdan Goma kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Mugur Gorcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Dorian struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fabian Isăcescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delphine Stars. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Tiberiu made a kick off. Delphine Stars's Emanuel Tiberiu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Tiberiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fabian Isăcescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Tiberiu Iuga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alexandria Team08 and the Delphine Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Alexandria Team08's Bogdan Goma, in the 64th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria Team08. Manuel Amânaloae took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petruț Ţopescu. Petruț Ţopescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Flavius Zdrenghea hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Spirea came free, but Petruț Ţopescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felix Dobrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Gorcea. Manuel Amânaloae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Ţopescu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Bogdan Goma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandria Team08's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Goma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petruț Ţopescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Amânaloae in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petruț Ţopescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabian Isăcescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Gorcea in the 91st minute of play. Nicodim Drăgan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabian Isăcescu. Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fabian Isăcescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Tiberiu went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Alexandria Team08's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
