The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brutal DeLuxe's Henric Lövkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Mager made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ulisses Antunes sent off a good shot on target. When Alvar Larsson came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Brutal DeLuxe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvar Larsson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Tamboril's zone, Alvar Larsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Diniz came out of the goal and Alvar Larsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Brutal DeLuxe getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Henrik Tham hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Valdomiro Garcia took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jan Mager to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd minute of the match Petter Håkansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Diniz skillfully saved the ball. Jack Lindsten's late challenge caught a Tamboril's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jack Lindsten helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Jack Lindsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Larsson in the 39th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvar Larsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdomiro Garcia in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Mager prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Tamboril fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Tamboril's Valdomiro Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Brutal DeLuxe's Jan Mager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Lopez in the 65th minute of play. Adrianinho Camargo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Brutal DeLuxe's Alvar Larsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abelardo Diniz. Abelardo Diniz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Jörgen Kämpe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Abelardo Diniz made a huge save. In the 82nd minute Ulisses Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Mager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Brutal DeLuxe booed when Tamboril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petter Håkansson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abelardo Diniz. Tamboril's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Alvar Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tamboril's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
