After 5 minutes, Brian Carter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lisburn Distillery F.C. and the Delphine Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brian Carter hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Petruț Ţopescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toby Dransfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Denis Nenciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Ahlbom having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Delphine Stars's Costel Cobzeanu got a free kick in the 17th minute. Costel Cobzeanu in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paul Ahlbom, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 25 in the game by Costel Cobzeanu from a close distance when the talented Paul Ahlbom managed to make a qualified save. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s players were relieved. Paul Ahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Gorcea in the 38th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Cristache. Mugur Gorcea kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Nicodim Drăgan charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicodim Drăgan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodim Drăgan to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Petruț Ţopescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toby Dransfield in the 51st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toby Dransfield got free with Petruț Ţopescu in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delphine Stars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Toby Dransfield scored to the left of an out of position Petruț Ţopescu, making the score, 0-1. Petruț Ţopescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toby Dransfield in the 62nd minute. Mugur Gorcea charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mugur Gorcea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mugur Gorcea hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Igor Sanchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Tiberiu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Delphine Stars's Petruț Ţopescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Delphine Stars from getting a goal against them. Mugur Gorcea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Paul Ahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Delphine Stars's zone, Quentin Lennon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Ţopescu came out of the goal and Quentin Lennon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delphine Stars's Mugur Gorcea got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Mugur Gorcea off the ground. Quentin Lennon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
