Sidney Hallam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Bittencourt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Vinhas in the 13th minute of play forced Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalkeeper Paul Ahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Geraldo Abraão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Ahlbom showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Pedrinho Teixeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Ahlbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quentin Lennon during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Lisburn Distillery F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Lennon to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geraldo Abraão was slow to take the kick. During this time IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Geraldo Abraão almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Paul Ahlbom did a great save. After 29 minutes Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geraldo Abraão who took care of the corner kick. The corner led IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Geraldo Abraão to fire away a dangerous shot which Paul Ahlbom despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ booed when Lisburn Distillery F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Carter didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Geraldo Abraão hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Geraldo Abraão seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Geraldo Abraão the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Geraldo Abraão had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 47th match minute, IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Abraão to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toby Dransfield to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Toby Dransfield made a precise shot to the right of Sydney Bittencourt. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sydney Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Lennon, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Sydney Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Lennon in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Lisburn Distillery F.C. booed when IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Quentin Lennon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Lisburn Distillery F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
