Thierry Platon was slow to take the kick. During this time Cosa nostra Lyon's players had a chance to rest. Morgan Autissier made a great header on Cosa nostra Lyon's corner, it was just that Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros managed to reach the ball for a save. Valdemar Quadros came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cosa nostra Lyon's Vivien Contant. But to his dismay, Vivien Contant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Cosa nostra Lyon were victorious despite being under pressure from Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- for much of the match.
