Cezary Gdowik hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Goma came free, but Paul Ahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when Lisburn Distillery F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Muja didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Dobrea during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Dobrea to maneuver through the defense. Alexandria Team08's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Inácio Mazza ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s corner Inácio Mazza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabian Isăcescu quite easily take care of the ball. Ion Turcescu's late challenge caught a Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ion Turcescu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Adrian Spirea hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Toby Dransfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Isăcescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toby Dransfield to make the kick off. Felix Dobrea hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Paul Ahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Goma, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The Lisburn Distillery F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Ahlbom should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Goma in the 67th minute of play forced Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalkeeper Paul Ahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Isăcescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Sanchez in the 75th minute. Flavius Zdrenghea kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Alexandria Team08's Fabian Isăcescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Hallam in the 97th minute of play.
