Spectators: 7825 (Terracing: 5870, Seating: 1799, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when J.J Ares took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Pădureanu came free, but Joost De Groot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavian Onitiu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Ares FC -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Petran. If Kylian Fortune had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ares FC -MM-'s Horia Hulubei got control of the ball when Gaël Pillot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joost De Groot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Chihaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joost De Groot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Pădureanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Gaël Pillot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horia Hulubei was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Ares FC -MM- getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ionel Petran hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomil Cymbal got free with Horia Hulubei in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ares FC -MM-'s Horia Hulubei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ares FC -MM- from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Amadieu in the 32nd minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Horia Hulubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ares FC -MM-'s Horia Hulubei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ares FC -MM- from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Jérôme Mure got a free kick in the 35th minute. Gaël Pillot's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Horia Hulubei firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 40th match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kylian Fortune to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Le Stade Briochin UC's Wilfried Pinson was substituted for Gaël Pillot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Machado to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Machado came free, but Horia Hulubei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Amadieu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ferdinand Brin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Aristide Chihaia came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ares FC -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristide Chihaia couldn't finish the play. In the 58th match minute, Ares FC -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Iorga to maneuver through the defense. Joost De Groot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Pădureanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Pădureanu's late challenge caught a Le Stade Briochin UC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Pădureanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Ares FC -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Pădureanu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ares FC -MM- getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Denis Pădureanu hit a great ball. Constantin Stoicescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Le Stade Briochin UC made a substitution. Georges Ravat replaced Radomil Cymbal. Ares FC -MM-'s Horia Hulubei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Kac in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Machado in the 77th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Horia Hulubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Constantin Stoicescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joost De Groot, 1-1. Aristide Chihaia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Joost De Groot made a huge save. Tony Amadieu scored 2-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Hulubei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Le Stade Briochin UC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
